Bring the original print to the gallery, or send a clear scan or phone photo on WhatsApp. We work on a digital copy, so your original is never altered. Once the photo is repaired, we print a fresh copy at the size you choose, and we can frame it too.
Restored photos make thoughtful gifts for parents and grandparents, and they're often the first step towards a custom portrait of someone who is no longer with us.
Tips for sending a photo
Lay the print flat near a window, avoid flash and glare, and take the picture straight on so the whole photo fills the frame. If it's very fragile, don't try to flatten it. Bring it to us as it is.

Do I need to give you the original photo?
Not always. A good scan or a clear phone photo of the print often works. For badly damaged photos, bring the original and we'll scan it carefully at the gallery.
Is restoration done on the original photo?
Restoration work is done on a digital copy. Send a scan or clear photo first; our team will tell you whether we need to see the original.
Can you add colour to a black-and-white photo?
Ask us when you send the photo. We'll tell you what's possible for that image.
Can a restored photo become a painting?
Yes. Many customers restore an old photo first and then order a digitally hand-painted portrait from it.
